    Garmin GPS60

    Hey guys n girls
    Can this model support "topo maps"
    Or is it just more of a way point GPS ?

    I just checked and you cannot put maps on the 60.
    You can on 60csx which is still a popular model. Personally, I would pay a bit more and go for a later model.

    Cant put maps on it, and they have the older receiver which is about as usefull as a broken ankle in the bush.
    I got lead up the path on this one also, not about the maps, new it didnt take those, but bloke said it worked 'a treat' in thick bush. Bollocks.
    Fine as a little boat or tops backup though. Rugged and work well enough

    I use mine as my in-car GPS only for speed, elevation and just running a track of where I've been. I carry my rhino w me when humting
