They're good. I've got the earlier yellow job. Works for me. I can find my truck which is the important part when home time. Buy rechargable batteries and carry a spare pair of alkaline just in case. Works for me.

Roddy I have the 60CSX which you will see this weekend. If it is the same model then they are definitely good. I don't know much about the lower models in the GPS 60 range though. The first question you should ask the seller is what model it is. If it is the CSX the bid on it but don't go crazy as you can buy the new 62S model for $600 and it is apparently even better. The 60 model range must be getting on for fifteen years old now as I have had mine for at least 12 years. I also see that forum member Munsey has a Magellan for sale. I will tell him that you are in the market looking.

What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

One thing to keep in mind is that some of the older and lower specced gps units do not have the flash triple axis compass, so you have to be moving to get a bearing /heading. I have seen a couple of guys get really confused because they didnt know this when using 60csx. On both occasions they chose to believe what the gps was telling them rather than their pocket compass.
