    Gear Bag

Any one recommend a water proof gear bag.
looking at a pvc water duffle bag, I think 60l-70l should be enough
Have seen the Aspiring PVC Gear Bags
want something to put my work wet weather gear in, dry socks jumper
Then will be used for a gear bag for hunting trips etc in truck or helicopter not a backpack

    Danzbags Otorohanga.
I'll try to put up a link.
They make all shapes and sizes.
    Good gear and well made.

Good gear. Have a few of his bags, simple and super solid. One is a canvas duffel that I store my tie downs and recovery gear in, lives in my Ute toolbox.

The Aspiring ones he is or was a very hardcore caver so his gear is tested hard.

I have a 65L tatonka barrel bag, they do a few sizes. It has straps in it if you want to use it as a backpack.
Works good for a quad/sxs mission into a hut when wet and muddy.

I have a Tatonka Barrel bag, bright yellow with the padded base and tucked away shoulder straps so you can wear it as a back pack in an emergency.
ie the wearthers cramping in and your helicopeter can't get you out so you need to carry your gear down below the tree line. Or any other time you have to carry it more that a few 100 mtrs.
So on a fly in trip I have my barrel bag, day pack and rifle.

We have a couple of these from Aliexpress, use in the boat for clothing etc when camping away. Roll top in a 120 L, not let us down yet.

The Stoney creek 100L duffel bags are great, perfect for heli trips!

They're basically just a dive bag.

I ended up needing a bag at start of the week, so just had to buy what i could find on the shelf
So ended up buying a 65l bag of the shelf in farmlands https://shop.farmlands.co.nz/5638436...iABEgL3iPD_BwE
