A Muela clip fixed point blade knife. I bought it when I didn't know much about knives
I'd post a picture of it but my dysfunctional bastard (USELESS BASTARD MC BASTARD) Acer laptop isn't playing ball, and doesn't want to know about it.
I bought the Muela much the same way I do about any piece of gear nowadays, knowing that I'd find out what it had as good points and bad, figuring it was a learning experience and the price of good gear in part was finding out about crap gear by trying some of it.
I have used other knives (Pendleton, Gerber) to cut up the deer I've shot because they are shorter, skinnier, and allow more precise work during butchery 'cause I 'm still learning and my knife skills suuck.
Some other competent hunter may use a Muela and be able to play a tune on the thing.
For me it was simply superseded by better knives.
sounds like you need to stab your laptop with the Muela revenge will be sweet then start again with the knowledge not to buy that shit again
