    Leather riggers gloves are quite warm and very durable and should be impervious to gorse, not much dexterity though. I find the Ninja type gloves with a rubber/plastic palm and fingers and a cotton backing are probably just as good with way more dexterity and more comfortable to wear if they get wet. Go in and have a look at the range in any safety shop
