    Gloves for little ones

    Hey team,

I'm wanting to star taking my 15month old son a some walks and some over nighters, not hunting at this stage just to get out there, as he loves being outside. Have all the warm clothes. But just need some gloves for him. Any recommendations? We can only find some for 3+

    Cheers
    Bevan

Get one of the grannies to knit him some.

Mittens might be easier to find in the correct size.

Yep, socks. Thats what we used with our kids that age. Keeps them warmer than gloves, and gloves are a massive pain in the arse to attempt to fit to a child that young.

Yep. Socks. If conditions are going to be snow or wet then take along some smallish plastic bags to secure over the socks with rubber bands around their wrists. Be sure these are not too tight though so circulation is not compromised.

Mittens are way easier to get on and off with littlies, and warmer.

we had one set with a string joining them together...you put the string up one sleave and down the other, they were the only set the kids couldnt get off or loose...with ease....trying to keep a wooly hat on them is just as hard.
