    Good Kiwi buggers making stuff.

There are some really clever guys here in NZ making stuff. This is NZ made only, sure, it will be more expensive than cheap generic imported crap. If thats what you want or can only afford thats fine but if you support Kiwi made even better. Some of them are well known and some are very small companies or just individuals. If they make a great product and provide terrific service let us know about them. Yes and shame on all those companies who have sacked their kiwi workforce and moved offshore, do you really want to support countries with no regard for workers rights or who have no political freedom you can all take a flying leap I don't buy your stuff anymore . So lets support those good buggers who are still here.
To kick things off for me.

    Tuatahi Axes (work axe)
Hardy Rifle Engineering (various suppressors and barrels)
    Swazi (Tahr anorak)
    Cactus Outdoor ( bags, packs)

Some more will come to mind in time, you guys can carry on from here feel free to post photos and anecdotes of great stuff.

Ockers but then Swazi is also a Scot.
I suppose though it is OK to adopt them as good Kiwi buggers.

Gun Bell and Custom make their own 2011 Pistols and AR-15 rifles, for the most part, in Rotorua. I have had one of their M40-11's for a while. Very stylish, ergonomic and most importantly, accurate. Have only had one stoppage in a few thousand reloads due to no primer. My fault not noticing when reloading or even when charging the mag.
Not cheap but worth every penny as far as I am concerned. Going to buy another as a backup as soon as I can.
I have not seen one of their AR's in the flesh but if they are as reliable as their pistols I am sure I wouldnt hesitate to buy one.

Yep John was a genius, unfortunately not many of us have one, what a shame he was taken soo young. But what deliberate purchasing decisions do you guys make to buy Kiwi made even if it costs a bit more to support local craftsmen.
