Good, lightweight Daypack options 15-25 litre range?

After some recommendations on a daypack in the 15-25 litre range.

Mainly bush stalking, so must be quiet material and ideally be able to be cinched up on the contents to remove as much of the bulk as possible. Comfort is important. Must have a waistband/belt, maybe chest strap.

What are peoples experiences with Stoney creek kaipo, Hunters element vertical ? Anything else I should be having a look at? Thanks in advance.

I know you said daypack, but consider a belt bag/bumbag. For bush stalking I find it the most comfortable. Cooler and doesn’t get caught up on branches etc.

Hunters element Divide bag is great as it has shoulder straps so works like a backpack when you have a Bluff Packable pack, with meat in it, on top of the belt bag.

But….. if you want an el’cheapo option to try, this one from Kmart I found pretty good. Quite material. I still use the bladder for other stuff too haha:

I use a Spika 25L daypack. It's had a fair bit of use and held up well. It has several compartments which makes it easier to find gear. The rifle carrying system is a bit of a waste though, the rifle goes down the front of the pack, so once the pack is loaded the rifle doesn't fit very well, it would be better down the side of the pack, but then again the side pockets are perfect for my waterbottles.

I used a larger pack for a while, but got pissed off getting the top hooked up in supplejack, so went back to the Spika and carry a HE Bluff pack to use for the meat on the way out.

@scotty I’ll bloody carry your day pack for you if you’d just come out for a hunt already 😂

I have two bags that I use depending on time of year / water availability. Always have my belt with me for all the essentails and most of the year i use a Swazi stag bag (pikau), this zips up really small but opens out plenty for when you need to fill it. It will just fit all four wheels, b steaks and heart with the long bits sticking out the top. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore.

For summer when I need to carry a water bladder I have the Stoney creek kaipo which does the job but I've haven't had the chance to fill it up yet.

Have a 15lt stoney creek that is pretty comfy. I run in tandem with a belt as would want all the space available for meat . Need to bone stuff out to fit it. Can fit a bladder in its own pocket which is handy. Never use it these days so if you are interested I will let it go cheap
