They are Vasque Wasatch, looked ok when I purchased them but Ive noted a pressure spot caused by a join in the outer leather,
Thinking of renewing them even though they are still in good condition. looking at Gri sport or the stoney creek range, had enough of very sore heels while hunting.

@TJM Not sure how I missed this and never replied to your question. Its been 2.5 years since but here is my reply
The blisters only happened when I wore very thin socks and only when the boots were rather new. After few months the boots were very comfortable on the feet, I still wear the same pair and they only have lost the waterproofing.

I find myself looking for a new boot at the moment and might go for the Aorakis.

Got / had a pair. Comfy. But too soft for carrying a heavy pack. Not enough support. For me anyway.
