Great just what we need ....................... another big box style firearms store where the staff are trained to ignore their Customers.
Cheers

I've heard enough about them to not bother walking in the door, wherever they might pop up.
You can get the odd bargain from time to time, sometimes they put stuff on a sale price that defies belief. i.e: actually quite cheap
As always it's a case of buyer beware and do your price research. GS must be doing something right though or there are a lot of suckers out there - as a business GS appears to thriving. And they are good for bargains - check their sale prices which mostly will be on a par with normal prices elsewhere (or a bit above still) and if normal use that value to negotiate a good deal somewhere else.
It's actually nice to see any bricks and mortar retail doings so well that they are expanding

Most probably part of a cunning plan to squeeze the small guys out of business n then you'll have bugga all or no choice at where to shop. Caveat emptor is the term I believe. Just know your prices.

Are they expanding their empire or are they taking over the small guys who in turn trade as GC ?
Grouchy Smurf had it right all along...
Nah no take over. New shop.
It seems they are setting up from scratch. I passed in front of it this evening and they look like they are going to open in a few days.
I feel sorry for the small guys as well. On their trademe had a few month ago they were recruiting sales staff.
One of the sentence was : no gun experience needed!
That sums up the mentality.
Which part of Hamilton are they setting up shop? Hope the small guys still get supported.
