I think there are a few people cottoning on to this site as there are lots of cheap Lowa's popping up on Tard Me
I bought a pair at around 600 bucks when they came out and couldn't stop heel lift in them[emoji22]
good boots but dont suit my feet or gate or some bloody thing.

The Tibet gtx wxl are the bizzo. Couple of good hunts, wear them wet for a while and "Roberts your fathers brother!"
I just ordered myself some of these. Been wanting some for a while but couldnt cough up the 700.
Be rude not to at 350.
How much did you guys get Tibet's for.. Going through checkout it says I will be charge 230.22 pounds. Which is about $480 was there an amazing sale or something?

I thnk there was a bit of a sale, not sure the exact amount. At that price it will probably push it over the gst limit.
I was charged about 207 euro. Go right through to checkout as you don't have to pay the 19% sales tax.
I also paid €207. Which was about $350.
It did take longer than I thought to get here though. It was 28 days from when processed

Mine took just over two weeks, I think it mostly depends on NZ customs. Definitely a wicked boot for $350, but they'd gone up in price before my mate could nab some. Once they're over 400 (including freight) you'll probably get stung by customs too.
They've gone down again though, pick up a bargain.
If you make an account and set your address as somewhere in NZ before adding the boots to your cart then it should remove the tax. I changed the currency to australian dollars before making an account (by clicking the flag at the top right) and my account only seems to load on the australian currency version of the website, where tax is excluded for everything. They're showing up as $304 (boot) + $28 (freight) aussie dollars, just under $350 NZD total.
Just under $350 including conversion rate. Bloody good deal. Cheers @stug

Just checked my boots landed $300 instead of $549.99...
Yep my Lowa Z8-S GTX landed will be $283.48NZ done through Pay-Pal, very happy as they are only at H&F so they make a steal on them... what with the bollocks marketing that they were specially designed for the NZ Hunting market, pfffhhhh... Great to have a spare pair now... Thanks for sharing @stug
Quite tempted by a new pair of boots actually, get in and use the tax refund before the lawyer eats it all. All my hunting stuff is Lower North Island so bush, stream crossings etc but I'd love to get out and into some of the high parts of the SI soonish are the Lowa Z8-S GTX's still the way to go for that?
Probably want the tibet or ranger for higher SI hunting. I've heard the Z8's are a bit slippery on wet rocks. I have the Tibets for SI above bushline hunting.
Rangers or Tibets, if you mainly hunt N.I I'd go for rangers, I've just bought a pair of Tibets that I'll be using for my S.I missions.
Got a pair of rangers, like them except for how they have worn in on one foot, can't get the first hook laced up easily, get started on a wall and 5Min later it's popped off and have to redo it. It's just the one boot though so figure it's how they moulded. Not the best grip from the Vibram sole but it's on slippery rocks where most boots would slip
So the Rangers aren't too stiff and hard for bush walking and the like? Because I've got dodgy knees I find hard boots set them off pretty badly. I'm currently running Magnums and those things are great, grippy on the soul and soft enough to not feel like I'm walking on concrete all day. I'm assuming the WXL refers to the width of the boots?
Yes, WXL is wide. The Ranger is "softer" than the Tibet. Look at the specs - especially the "upper" description and name of the Vibram sole.

The "stabilizer" affects the flexibility of the sole and you can GOOGLE the Vibram catalog to read the full specs.
Awesome, thanks for that! The soles are the issue for me. Also tempted by the Combat boots since they have a higher ankle. Guess it's between them and the Rangers. Both have awesome reviews. Time for a think i guess
Just got some Z8s a few days ago from myhuntingshop, very happy with them on the local tracks so far. Big test will be in a few weeks in the Kaimanawas
what do you do if you got super wide feet?
i was in the shop today trying on boots, and the wide lowas are the best fit though probably not quite wide enough ( have really really wide feet, i think 14 cm wide at about a size 46).
So I was wondering on your opinions on whats the best bet? I'm tempted to get a pair of lowa rangers off the net and just see how they go because they felt ok in the store
my only other option that i can think of to consider is the stoney creek stalkers because they might have a bit more give in them i feel to allow my wide foot a bit more comfort..
i'm only hunting in the north island so maybe the lowas are surplus to requirements anyway!
churs
I got a pair of the Lowa Ranger III GTX's. They couldn't be more perfect & $325 delivered.
Thanks very much for the heads-up about the site guys. They'll be put to good use for SAR Tauranga!
What sizing system does myhuntingshop use? I presume u.s.
Tried using the contact us but won't accept any of my 3 emails addresses
UK I think people were saying.
@223nut In the top right corner of the site there are some little flags. I clicked on the UK one I think. I ordered based on UK sizing and got UK sizing.
Pricing is crazy, 348 nz charged to my card 700 on trade me
Boots should be even cheaper as the GBP tanks after the Brexit vote.

Was thinking of waiting till after be it @stretch but I want my boots to arrive before UK goes crazy!! Too late huh @penny. @Ryan_Songhurst went with Tibet's, my rangers are ok but pain in the arse lacing when I'm in a hurry, moulded to my feet funny. As you say at this price they will be tucked away for down the line. Only guna get more expensive over time!
Sizes are on MyHuntingShop are UK.
Aparantly they ship direct from Lowa, mine took 5 working days to arrive. I'll definately be buying more stuff from theses guys, really good customer service.
