    Hard on gear

It seems the boy had a wee crash on the four wheeler that he neglected to tell me about.
The first hint was the gun rack broken, then I noticed the spotlight needing a bit of love. But the give away was after missing the first two sitters of the night, so a sight in needed except it was spot on two days ago. Then I couldn't hit the target till I was about 1800 from it. WTF??????
ON CLOSER INSPECTION YES HE HAD EVEN MANAGED TO BEND THE BARREL (fucking capslock)
    LMAO, the little shit.

I don't think the accidents the problem, he should've fronted up and admitted it. I'd say his pride is hurt somewhat.

Time to sit the fella down and have a calm word with him to get the full story as he is probably thinking he will get his hide tanned for it and that is probably why nothing has been said about it.

He's 13, and it's not a tanned hide these days, he was worried I was going to rage on him.
He'll be shooting over the xmas holidays to pay it off. (Hard punishment eh )
The main thing is he learnt from it. Don't give a fuck about a bit of broken gear, shit happens, but tell the old bastard when it does please.

The most important thing is that the young feller came out unscathed.
