Just thought I'd mention that the new Sofirn HS21 has replaced everything else I use. I plan on making a demo video, I've just been a bit busy.

The HS21 has a regulated driver/circuit board for high stabilised brightness. The spot beam measured 280m at turn on and then at 30 seconds for ANSI FL1 it's 261m on turbo. After the stepdown from turbo it settles at a very high 700 lumens and 170m range. Not many out there can hold 170m range for the entire run. It has 5 brightness levels for each LED mode of Spot, Flood, Spot+Flood, and Red. There's a single button on top for turning it on/off and changing brightness, and also a head rotary dial that changes the LED modes. Each LED mode uses memory, so basically set it once and no more holding and clicking switches. I have Flood mode set to medium and Spot mode set to turbo. Walking around the farm using the flood and then one rotation click of the head gets me spot turbo for a scan around, then back to flood medium. It's so easy and effortless. Red is very bright and holds its 100 lumen turbo level for 5 hours without reducing to a lower brightness (red photo on my website appears much darker than in person).

    I sell it for $97.

Thanks for the package. Received the H25lr today and am very happy with it. Awesome and compact head torch. Great service most appreciated

I had one of the Nitecores but bugger me the amount of functions on it drove me mad.
Hamils tauranga had a couple there still and they are doing another run soon by sounds.

These little Nebo Mycro are bloody good, probably not the best choice if you're trying to Navigate out in open country in the dark but last really well around camp etc or just getting from A to B if you've got a reasonable idea of what you're up against. Weigh literally nothing and charge up super quick with a 10w solar panel or a battery bank. I've got an HC35 that stays in my pack for now and just use the Mycro for pretty much everything

The issue I'm facing is the USD is so incredibly high at the moment that any new stock would be +10%. I'm trying to hold off importing to see if it drops, until yesterday it increased again, so I think I'll just have to bite the bullet and increase my pricing

If you're interested in the HS21, then best to grab it because they're almost sold out too.

90% of the time I carry 2x Nitecore NU25 very lightweight and good locking function. If I need routefinding then I need to carry another beam torch or headlight, so it’s interesting to read what headlamps are good for that. ATM use a Nitecore battery torch for that. But mostly don’t bother route finding in unfamiliar country at night. Bush bashing with a head torch in unfamiliar country is no fun, esp backtracking.

My HS21 arrived last week, must have been one of the last as went back next day to order one for my mate and sold out. Awesome light for the price, love the rotating function, so easy to use and bloody bright. Will get it out soon and compare to my 2 nitecores.
When will they be back in stock? Cheers

I'm a big fan of Sofirn. They're a lesser known company but very innovative and responsive to feedback on their products.
Thay always rate really well in independent reviews.
To date I have bought 6 of their torches in various shapes and sizes from pencil torches for the car's glovebox, to spotlight, to their HS40 headlamp.
They're HS21 is a real nice headlamp with great features. I'm tempted but will probabably stick with my HS40.

I've just placed an order, so it'll be 2-3 weeks I reckon.

Did you get the alternative headband? Which one do you prefer? Some enjoy the plastic bracket and others find it uncomfortable.
