    Always carry spare batteries and a second wee torch so you can see to change them.

    Check out the battery life per headlamp. I have a LED Lenser H14 and whilst I love the light output, I have learned it can quickly chop a set of batteries on high power.

    Yes the appropriate battery is highly relevant too
