The theiving bastards didn't get my hammock.

I purchased one of these mats from Trademe ... got it for a $1 plus $8 postage

The mat is 3mm foam backed with some sort of aluminised foil, perfect for reflecting body heat.

It folds into two with the aliminuim side facing out giving a 6mm layer of protection and fits perfectly inside the hammock to make it nice an cosy.

I haven't tried it at altutude yet but I am planning on using it on the Galatea faces in June and at Cold Kiwi in September.

The Hennessy Hamock is very comfortable to sleep and with the mat weighs about the same as my one man tent but I would like a bigger fly to also cook under.
