    hot tents

im planning my camp for the winter tahr ballot and have been looking at what hot tents are around. i see the MIA range are pretty much top of the line here but at $3k+ that is quite beyond my budget for now. Iv seen One Tigris for a much more reasonable price has anyone got any experience with those are they reasonable rugged ? 0r are they're other options out there i haven't come across yet. I'm basically wanting to have a good sized tent for cooking and having a fire for keeping warm and dry if the weather shits itself. ill be taking my swag for sleeping at the camp but it wont be very good if we get tent bound.

Points South have a tipi style tent probably better in the wind and snow than the mia with a lower profile. Similar price tho.

Ive kept an eye on these for a few years but never taken the plunge. Lingered too long and more a hut guy now.

Have seen these being advertised. I haven't seen or used one but they are priced less.

Usually when we fly in to tahr ballots we take a couple mitre 10 tarps. Rope etc and make a shelter. Sure it's not a warm hot tent but alot cheaper and spend the daylight out hunting

I was looking at the same and was going to go down the road of a single room Great outdoors and fit a stove jack.
You can pick them up cheap and they are bulletproof.

That's what I have, works well. They are heavy though so not the best for fly ins

One Tigris do a stove jack to DIY any tent
They also do a cheap teepee.
Search a guy called lone wolf 902 on YouTube. I've bought a tunnel tent and will look at getting it modified at some point.

I've seen ads somewhere showing tents for hire. Maybe on Facebook.
