    I buy features not camo.
This hoodie by Hunters Elements, which might be called a VEIL, has the following features: hood, neck/face warmer, thumb holes in the sleeves. It happens to be camo, because it's not produced in olive green or black.
Very warm, wicks sweat away and drys really fast.Name: 20240207_124407.jpg

My other favorite garment is this Manitoba from Gun City.
Features are: olive green, chest zip to regulate body temperature, zip up neck, warm in winter, cool in summer, light to carry, wicks and drys really fastAttachment 243227 Name: 20240207_124252.jpg

I am a mix of plain colours, blue, black, green in tops and light tan pants, and black or green shorts with black under armour heat gear....and also have full sets of camo...depends on the situation...

I wear camo exclusively for poaching and it works a treat

I wear it as I buy s/h army surplus clothes. If I was to buy new cloths id probably go for black brown and dark greens for where I go

I'll second the vote on Stoney creek micro tough. They are the longest lasting a most comfortable pants I own. You can buy them from Farmlands in a brown colour if you don't like the bayleaf.

I’m head to toe in Kuiu camo gear. Have had deer walk past at 15m without seeing me. Have had deer see me move and locked eyes on me as I laid eyes on them, they have stood and stared for minutes and minutes and then gone back to feeding. Definitely don’t need camo but there is 15-20% of the time when it pays off. Deer here are only predated upon by human so they are looking for the human shape. Equally, their eyes are tuned to look for movement, if you move fast and erratically they will pick you up from hundreds of meters away before your camo can even begin to work

Interesting change of attitude shown here, guys. Twenty years ago, most of the answers would have been a vote for camo. I wear blaze orange in the bush, and yellow in open country, because I want trigger happy hunters to identify me.

I want to know more about the uv brighteners. How do you know if your washing powder has it?

Shine a UV light on your hunting clothes. It might be an eye opener whether the clothing is camo or not, regardless of UV brighteners in washing powder.

Have shot deer at 10 to 20 paces in the bush standing dead still the last two months. Could be the black singlet. Could be the green singlet. Could be the huntech tussock shorts (buying the green version shortly). Or is most likely the Hunters Element Veil camo ankle gaiter (love those things, but no "green" version). Or was it the summer tan on the legs and exposed arms? Probably the dark brown dog pointing the deer out in the first place.
