I have one and its a good bag but I tend to use it open all the time rather than as a bum bag as bum bags always slip down my arse. Will be looking to get a regular pack of around 25l soon

Not sure you would fit a boned out deer in a 25lt pack. But would be getting close. When hunting the tops, I use a 45lt day pack, mainly to fill with meat as a whole animal to shit to carry a long way.

Could carry out whole and stuff the bum bag inside the rib cage I guess. Bum bags are certainly easier when in the bush.

The quality of them is good. I bought the Hunters element elevate on boxing day and was great on the 2 hunts i have been on since. I don't know if that bum bag version would be big enough if u take all your day gear plus meat.

I rate Hunters Element stuff. I haven't tried their packs, but I buy their other gear and it's great - if that helps at all .

My 45lt pack is HE, a rifle can be attached to the side of the pack to. great pack and very nice to carry all day, even when fill of meat. Generally, there gear is well made, practical and seems to last too.
