You'll see Sarvos boots on here or the Facebook group 'These boots were made for Walking-Tramping & Hunting'.

I also have had a good run with the lightweight Salomon Quest boots. Also, being from Oz you mightnt have heard of them but micro spikes are awesome for the tussock country & general slippery stuff. https://www.bivouac.co.nz/kahtoola-microspikes.html
