    Hunting boots

So I'm looking at replacing my boots North Island hunting, I've had Lowa Z6 and Lowa Tibet and don't like either I want something in between them both but prefer another brand.
Main issue is size as I need a US 15.
What are people finding they like.

I was looking for a work boot on the farm with i will used for north island hunting as well. I like to try boots on. Tryed on a few lowa boots at $600-$700 didn't couldnt see what was so great about them, seemed they have gone away from a simple leather boot that works.
Also tryed on the crispi which was comfy but real light weight but felt like they were made cheap and i couldn't see them lasting
Ended up buying a andrews adventure, only been on one walk with them and felt strange where i knew i was going to slip in my asolos these just hang on.
Only new so can't tell you how long they are going to last but reviews seem better then the stories you here about lowa boots.

These are a good boot and excellent value. Medium weight. Mine have lasted a couple of years of a lot of use including a couple of Tahr trips.

I saw them in MacPac on special recently and bought an extra pair.

I’ve bought boots from this crowd because I can’t get shoes that look good and fit in NZ. Only issue is sizing one pair went to my brother because they were too small, he’s one size smaller than me.
I haven’t tried the boots below it just an example of what they have.

I am a bit worried about our mate Bruce
Had him marked as a perfectionist - that looks like a teens all nighter poaching with a couple of crates on back that are now empty heading home for more or sleep it off :-)))

Looks like it. It was a pest contractor's truck and he was dropping me off to a Wallaby block.

I used meindl desert fox boots for about 8 years of North Island hunting (mainly kaimanawa). Great stalking boots but not waterproof. Maybe able to use waterproof socks if it's cold, usually if warm enough and I got wet feet I just carried on as it didn't bother me.
