    Hunting Pants

Right I'm someone that gets something that works and don't change it until it's f**ked.

I hunt in the Winter weight polyprop longjohns and shorts but they don't make them anymore. And the light ones get holes in them on the first hunt (useless)

My question is what sort of pants do you guys hunt in?
    And why?

Ross have you tried the Stoney creek microtough trousers (Like Ally and I wear) they cool as the fabric is thin and has side vents then in the winter if you are prone to cold or sitting for long periods i wear logjohns underneath. They are available in camo or green.

I would loan you mine , but you might catch something from them.

    +1 to them being awesome.

I would add that I prefer the green to the camo. Camo is a laminated fabric (they laminate the camo pattern on) and feels cold on the inside. Green feels warm on the inside and breaths better. Have a look at some in the shop and it will make sense.

How do you guys find them for drying?
One spot I should hunt more often has a lot of river crossings.
