    Hunting pants

Been using the Stoney Creek fast hunt pants for a few years and like them on a whole but their sizing is up to fucks. I'm not a tiny bloke (5'11" 75kgs) but the Smalls seems like it was made for a much rounder gentleman.

Wondering what pants guys are wearing.

No I don't want shorts and long John's.

    Cheers

My Hunters Element Spur Pants were the most comfortable hunting pant I had worn until I got my pair of Kuiu Attack Pants. Both are awesome for comfort and mobility but for me the attack pants just have the edge. I’m tall and lean, almost 6 foot 2 and 84kg.

+1 for kuiu attack pants haven't used anything else for a few years (unless I have snuck off hunting wearing day to day or work clothes)

Brought second hand off here when someone imported some that didn't fit

    Wearing Montane Pants.
Had to return and get another size.
Reckon sizing is all up to buggery at times.
Mind you reckon at some stage you hit that sweet spot where clothing fits.
When you transition from skinny young fella to "fat" older bloke.

Enjoying my Hunters Element Spur Pants. They have been my lockdown pants of choice so far. Really comfortable, but I do find the adjust-ability (or lack thereof) of the waist a bit annoying (Large is too tight, XL is too big), so they require a belt. I'd be looking for some pants that have some internal waist adjustments if possible.

Got some First Lite Obsidian pants. Light Merino. Corrugate pants or foundry pants look good too.

    Different fabrics in diff models
Most is the 4-way stretch exact same cloth/fabric as KUIU use in some of theirs

But all diff grades for diff seasons etc
Plenty of detail on each item in site
Also make sure you look at the Vids
Especially the one with the spring waist/belt system
    Its magic

Some are water repellent as a member showed me that I not knew

But the best part is the cut for "men"
Look at the design panels etc
The ankle cuff tightening flap is excellent too - and the knee designed correct - means you have no pull on it even when kneeling

    Living in mine
Building work mostly last few weeks

Yes but are they made for the shall we say "larger chaps" among us or is their sizing like the chinese / european sizing. For example I am a XXL in US sizing with room to spare but 5XL for the company clothing which is sourced from China. I cant actually wear any of the company clothing as none of it fits properly it seems when the Chinese scale up their sizing its just not quite there

Same 4-way fabric - but not Korean grade by the looks
Lets not even compare the design/cut
    Or the price

Sorry - don't like slagging other brands - but when they ask that coinage for that quality - cant stop myself :-(

    Each to their own

Thought you knew me better Mikee
Mine are made in Ukraine - nothing on my site is from that other place for the exact reasons you state

I will guarantee you - if mine do not fit any person - no others will
Unless you meaning Track Pants / design type

I agree Sarvo, really is unattractive to a client/customer when a seller bags the opposition. I have found Fist Lite quality top notch and their sizing spot on.

I'll check out your stuff, "same 4-way fabric, possibly higher grade, and at very competitive pricing".

Sarvos pants are comfy.....haven't been hunting in them yet but a few walks with the dog.
The ones I got have a dwr coating on them but are not designed to be waterproof as such but good for a passing shower.
4way stretch fabric with a good cut and pockets.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
