    Question Hunting shorts?

I've always just run the old footy shorts when out hunting because they're durable and allow for good movement. However, I'm keen to look at a new pair for hunting that have some pockets but still durable and free moving.

Anyone got some particular shorts they swear by? I'm mainly hunting the tops if that makes any difference. I always wear my long johns with shorts too.

I've been using the Macpac Winger shorts the last few years and have been impressed. Good mobility, nice deep pockets, zipped stash pocket, quiet, dry fast and have been very durable. https://www.macpac.co.nz/macpac-mens...ts/115600.html

Postie plus carco shorts in DPM green. Bought dozen pairs about four years ago.got sick of ripping arse out of nylon type fabrics. Yes need to keep them hitched up if it's wet or they bind at knee a little being almost knee length.but they are comfy and just work,as do Thier thermals.and cheap.

I use speedo "shorts", i found they are cool in summer, durable, have pockets, allow good movement and dry fast. Ideal if you come across a swimming spot too

Was going to buy some Hunters Element Spur shorts as i've got the long leg version and like them, but at $90 for the shorts i went to the Warehouse and got some Active Intent shorts . They are a stretchy quick drying material with one zip up pocket for $22 . Yip they will do me!.

I have a couple of pairs of Swazi fleece shorts which I rate, I like the internal belt. If the pockets had zips they'd be perfect. But also an old pair of Nike drifit shorts are the business for summer, a few zip pockets on them and they dry in no time and weigh nothing. Good for river swims.

Same assessment, although maybe a popper rather than a zip. Internal belt is essential for me as I have no waist. I'd like them a little longer in length if I had the choice.

I like the huntech rugaz shorts (https://huntechoutdoors.com/products...IaAjg-EALw_wcB )

Tough, deep pockets, draw string at top. And best of all have a extra stretchy fabric in the crutch area for extra movement/flex.
