    Not to disparage the many cool bits of kit listed here, I’m now in the habit of always taking in a number of candles - more than I need, so I can leave one or two behind in the hut. Been very grateful for others who have done so on more than one occasion. Using citronella tea-lights give an added benefit of insect repellence.

    Good bastards like you were greatly appreciated when I did a lot more hut trips. Next time I'm going to take a candle to leave behind too.
