Nitecore is quite cool but not hut bright perhaps and the luminaid takes some beating for lightness and packability

It arrived a few days ago so within 3 weeks of ordering. Pleased with that.
Ordered and paid for the 1m version however received the 1.5m :-)
It puts out a very impressive amount of light. Even in the translucent bag it lit up our living area quite well. In a hut it'd definitely be overkill bright if not in the bag. Hanging in trees without bag it'll be fantastic for area lighting. Tried to take some photos but phone couldn't capture it in any useful way.

Ordered a new strip light as my luminoodle has died.
Saw these little suckers on the website and thought I'd try them out.
First impression of them is good.
Completely dimmable and tiny so no weight or room taken up in your pack.
A good amount of light emitted but I need to wait til darkness strikes to play properly

I bought some bright little buggers.
By dimmable do you mean touch switch on/off as that appears all they do.
But I think will be good to poke in power pack or similar.
    Certainly weigh nothing.

Mine are dimmable, touch the back to turn on/off, press and hold finger on the back to increase or decrease brightness

I happen to have a white dry bag that I stuff my puffer into. Popped my headtorch in it & hung it up on a recent trip into the Ruahines & it worked really well. Only problem is my Led Lenser head torch takes 4xAAs & burns through the batteries bloody quick. Need to replace with my light source with something USB chargeable with decent life and brightness. The concept is awesome though.
