There are temporary sleeves that you can use to get you out of a situation, measure the diameter of the pole and buy the correct ones to carry with you. But regarding a permanent repair, I think the best is a replacement pole, some of the Carbon fibre guys may say different, but I think cost would dictate that.
Ah yip sweet just had a look at them as a quick fix for now👍🏻
