Thread: Jacket, what would you choose?

Don't discount the "tramping" brands. There is a lot of good gear out there and you can also choose a colour other than green. Only disadvantage is that they are usually made of noisy materials but if it is raining I am usually heading out of the bush anyway.
Personally I use a light waterproof shell and layer underneath it depending on how cold it is. I have found this a more versatile (and lighter) way to go. Your rain jacket doesn't have to keep you warm - just dry.
