Kia Ora, yes you can replace the battery on the Kennard Safe Link PLB, which currently cost about $150 ish to have replaced and the unit serviced in New Zealand, however if you have to activate it for actual rescue then some suppliers (including online ones) may replace the battery for you for free :)
