They are a bloody great blade for a machete substitute. The design is such that the blade leads and so there is no way that you can smack your knuckles (as can be the case with a conventional machet). Don't worry about the lack of weight either. Once you get used to using one you can slice though wrist thickness branches in a single swipe. Oh and if you follow R93's advice then make sure it is some other bugger's blood. I have an enduring respect for the Ghurka but there is no way I would cut myself just because I pulled a Kukri out.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
