    The lansky will work, it’s sloppy so it can be made to convex the edges, there are mouse pad options if you YouTube, alternatively if you want them done well, I can do them for you, if the blade is under 100 mm I charge 5, over 100 mm I charge 7.50, I can do a polished edge on a 7.2 degree convex, taken to 4000 grit that will split hairs, of if you are using them on hide I can make them have some tooth, your call.

    How do you mean sloppy.

    Its a sword knife not a $1000 knife. The lanky set will do just fine

    If you have a look at a lansky you will see that the holes the guide rods go through are quite large, and it’s easy for the guide rods to slip around in them, there is play, a bit like trying to shoot a 243 through a 308, it may go bang but it ain’t going to go straight.
