Here's a silly old bugger for you. His editing is shit, and he's full of crap :) It filled in a Saturday making it though.

Cheers for the vid, some nice knives there.
Almost a dark river fetish ?
My bad
Knives fascinate me perhaps even more than rifles do.
Must have inspired me. Sharpened up my knife back to scalpel sharp last night, it was sharp but not ultra sharp.
Bloody hell that's some fine cutlery you have
I can see how acquiring knives could easily become an addiction .
There are quite a few in that video that I would own in a heart beat
I think I'd better just keep using my old trusty knife , if I buy a new one I might be starting something I can't finish .
Ken
Nice collection tahr
Loved the commentary Tahr:)
Nice video Tahr
I could think of several worse things than collecting knives...........
And your not alone with this particular obsession that's for sure!
Thanks for sharing your collection.
Cheers
Pete
Aye, exchanging knives with Virtuvice, did you send him those svords? Nice wee vid there and some good looking knives
When is he coming over for a NZ sika
Question, how do you sharpen your knives, water stones or a system of some sort?
Moonhunt, he has given me a couple, and sold me a couple too at an excellent price. You will see him test a knife on a deer soon that I gave him as a gift. Not a svord though, but NZ made. Craig cut himself badly doing a deer with one of the ones he gave me; slashed his knuckles and had quite a few stitches. Ouch.
I use water stones, (1000 -3000) and strops with black and white compound. Sometimes the 400 through to 1200 sand papers if its serious re-profiling. They are all pretty damn sharp.
I use the them all. I just take a different one hunting every now and then.
That would have been at least a 3 bandaid exercise for me. Very nice.
Did you mean concave at the end there ? they looked more convex?
I wasn't goin to mention it :D
Do you have a bit of wool in your sheaths? I heard that can help keep the blades clean.
Could you put up a video of sharpening a knife step by step?
nice collection Tahr, im currently having a custom knife made for me by Steve Martin in Nelson, S/S (ATS-34) drop point with micarta scales....cant wait
Thanks for the vid Tahr, I liked that detail at the end about the curved profile of the blade giving you a fulcrum to work against when gutting, I'm gonna try that with my next knife
Here's some from the vid in action:

When you going to make your own knife BC?
I see you video featured on one of the Aus hunt forums also. I quite like the Bark River Custom 2011.
An Aussie posted it to show the various barkriver knives you have.

Could I ask where is the best place to buy Bark River knives ?
You are obviously getting them from overseas , but do you buy them online or do you have a contact in the USA ?
Ken
That Kalahari looks sweet.
