    Knives, which is best?

Victory vs Knifekut vs Green River. All three brands look the same, handles are the same design, blades amongst the different styles are the same. So besides labels and prices whats the difference, which is better?

Bit like asking what's better , Toyota Corolla , Mazda 3 or Mitsubishi Mirage... all will do the job.

I like visible knife handles for safety. I would go for the blue handled Victory short boner as a hunting knife

When I worked at the meatworks they used Victory knives - but that doesn't necessarily mean they were the best, they may have just been the cheapest...

@Huntfisheat I have a pair of pride knives, I snapped my Skinner with to much lateral pressure. The boner has seen a lot of animals over 20yrs... I think your right, they aren't available anymore

I have waited a long time for the “which is the best knife” question so that I can give this answer. “The very best knife is the knife you have when you really need a knife”.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
