    KTI PLB

Anyone know what the story is with the KTI beacons? My bro is interested in getting a plb and I tried to point him towards the KTI but it seems they are now discontinued?

I bought one off Skippersmate less than a year ago. They’ve still got accessories listed for them, so maybe they’re just out of stock...

From the Skippers Mate, KTI are closing down.

I see they are still advertised as available through the likes of Gearshop. Best to grab one before stock sells out. They are a good product with a good reputation.
Their 10 yr battery life is a good reason to buy too.

Gearshop have none. The store listing stated that they will email you when back in stock. That will never happen as KTi have closed business as of feb 3rd.
