For the most part I believe it’s definitely better. Every item is subjective though to the individual. I have a fair bit and really like it but some items I either didnt or go with something else. I wouldn’t buy the merino base layer stuff again, fragile as hell and not that good imo. Use macpac instead for cheaper. I don’t use the rainwear, mainly because it’s expensive as hell and I don’t like short jackets (kiwi thing). I have two packs, they are damn expensive but bloody good. I have a few mid layers, all good. Friggin love the attack pants. Best pants i’ve ever had. Also have the kutana pants, very nice too. Yukon gaiters have been very good but the kutana gaiters are too light and get damaged too easily. Love the bino harness. I had an axis jacket, it was very nice but I personally didn’t like the athletic fit and how I couldn’t comfortably wear a puffer an all my layers under it. For an active outer shell it was very good though. I like the expedition gloves.
