Have just bought a kuiu chugach jacket off a forum member which apparently was in brand new condition...
Upon opening my parcel I have noticed a couple of holes in the jacket.
Has anyone got ideas on best way to repair??
Cheers

There is a repair tape that that gearshop sells. I would be sending back long as you didnt cut it while opening the package

I have a kuiu guide that was mint. (No holes)
Built a dog kennel that still sits in the garage awaiting a roof.
Got around to putting a colour steel roof on it and while trying to navigate it and my wife's shitty garage parking I ripped a good triangle hole in the bastard on a corner of the steel.
Wife put some fancy stitching in it with her sewing machine. Hardly notice the stitching and she water proofed it with some sort of goo.
Way better than my duct tape repairs. My puffer jacket has a whole roll on it patching holes

Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
Thats pretty shit. I'd ask for my money back.
tore a kuiu ultra pack and contacted them to ask how to repair. they said they use and recommend this stuff. it is way stronger than the original material before it tore. get the clear colour

i’ve also got a chugach and it would work well on that material too
The guy has just contacted me and offered full refund or to keep it but at a discounted price, and to be fair to him he has been away.
The jacket looks and fits good so think ill look at keeping and doing a repair job on holes.
