Got mine on the way.
Yea rate mine got some damage due to strong winds in Southern alps in the roar .Bent a pole and sent pics to Kuiu and they replaced free so thumbs up
Is that the mountain star 2p? How did it go in the heavy wind, apart from the bent pole obviously…

Give them a call direct. I missed out on a pack sale and called them directly and explained my situation. The guy at Kuiu and spoke to his boss and they allowed it as was within a few days of the sale end… worth a try!!Quote:

Got it with the idea that it would be good for my son to use when we are out together giving me more room in the mtn star.
Also thought it would be a good light weight option for me when needed.
So far I have been really happy with it, so quick and easy to put up especially without the inner.

Mountain Star2p It was due to setting up tent in poor choice of location .Too exposed but handled it didn't realise till i pulled it down

I've got the Rincon 2p. Love. Loads of room for two people and gear. Replaced my Hilleberg Soulo. Don't need the four season performance and weight. The Kuiu Mountain Star looks to be 4 season based on construction.
