Thread: Leatherman/Tightlines Service/Warranty - Good Report (maybe make this a pinned post)

Hello Everyone

I wanted to get my Leatherman serviced/repaired.

Well i finally got round to it and this is the timeline
I filled in the form on 21/12/2022
I sent it via courier on 22/12/2022
and i received it back 06/01/2023

They ended up doing a full replacement for me (the 2nd time for me) free of charge. I can really say that this is outstanding service form the team at https://www.tightlines.co.nz/
Even with all the courier delays and residual covid issues in the country, the whole transaction only took 15 days and only cost me the postage.

Yup had the same excellent service myself ,(same model as well) which is why I recommend buying Leather-man & lupo!! None of us want the need to
use these warranties but isn't it comforting to know that its there & it works, no questions asked.

I had the original leatherman PST. File had snapped off, cutters in jaws had blurred over. Got in touch with tight lines, explained I’d had it about 25 years. They said send it in and I could either have it refurbished in the states or replaced with the modern equivalent version.
Ended up with a new Rebar.
Bloody top service and warranty.
