    led lenser mh-10

I just bought one of the new Led lenser range of head lamps. Having owned the 220 lumen blue rechargeable model for around 3 years I liked the look of the 600 lumen new model mh-10.
I took it out for a test run to feed the chooks and move the break for the ewes. Alot of the same features as the previous model and I was surprised how light and bright it is. Even spotted a rabbit in another paddock!
Although i use headlamps for hunting it will get used a lot checking on sheep during lambing and other block chores. At this time of year in Invercargill its dark when you leave for work and dark when you get home!
Its normally $250 but Gun city have it for $229 at the moment. Comes with a small belt bag to store it in and a red and green lens. The best thing about these headlamps is the rechargeable battery. It just plugs into a USB to charge up the batteries. I have charged the blue head lamp off a power bank and even charged it off the ute on the way to the bush. I shudder to think how much i would have spent on aaa batteries over the 3 years I've had the blue light.

Bloody good light.my wife brought me a cheaper version last year for fathers day,use it every night to feed the dogs and whatever,I recharged it tonight, only the third time I've recharged it in 9 months or so,saved a fortune in batteries to what I used in my old lights.
