    Led spotlights/lightbar for motorbike

Looking for advice for a pair of small or single led bar for the motorbike. Nothing too expensive
Got a relatively cheap bar for the car 4 years ago with switch, wiring and relay etc and it's been great even if the mounts werent ideal
The LEDs they use are the critical item?
    Worth upgrading them?
Couple of mates had a set each of these on their bikes and rated them highly.

Not from this guy and quite a bit cheaper.
    Are the specs right?
@gadgetman @gonetropo you would both have some good knowledge here?

Have a look on Aliexpress, picked up a light bar for my truck a few years ago for under $100 and it's still going good. It been under water a few times on river crossings with no problems.
Same light bar in jcar was $700.

also dont use an LED unit on a bike that has no regulator/battery set up. they get really annoyed when hit with uneven DC

one of these would be the go, think 20% off this weekend too

    Awesome.
Mine does have a battery and rectifier. That's the finned heatsink that takes all the heat out when its charging and not all the voltage is used?
My bike did have a pair like the ones I posted the link to.
Owner took them off for his new bike

whats the bike?? usually the problems arise with farm bikes that dont have any smooth DC, now the good old incandescent light is just a bit of glowing wire and isnt too fussy, LED and discharge tube lights get easily fried.

What are you looking to achieve with the lights - wide beam or longer thrower?
The other thing to think about is colour. The warmer frequency are better in foggy or rainy situations, the cool white will tend to white out.

Personally I run a 5" wide flood in the middle of the bull bar at the front and one in the back for reversing. Each of these lights gives a wide and short throw and when mounted low, it creates a shadow on hollows in the ground which make them easier to see - they accentuate the ground contour. As a reversing light they are awesome. Shoot an animal and this is the light I leave running on the bike as a work light while I bone it out.

I then run two STEDI C-4 BLACK EDITION LED LIGHT CUBE SPOTS
    https://www.stedi.com.au/c-4-led-spot-light.html
These have a longer, narrower throw.

The above combination seems to work quite well when run in together or independently depending on the situation.

doesnt have to be super white. Not massive distance but a bit wider would be good
i would just like something that is way better than the headlights on it now.
Something that also stayed on dip would be nice as on low beam it is crap.

Did you consider led conversion bulbs? Have a 350 trx 2005 which lights are fading fast or do you just get a light bar as an add on?

Crikey hotbarrels, are you a 'Transformers' fan ? Just needs a little bit of red and it would pass for Optimus Prime

My 2C, I run a 300mm light bar brought off TM a couple of years ago that cost $50 & its still going strong on my quad. You don't have to pay the earth. If you go the light bar way make sure you get a combo spot/flood unit.
