    Leica NZ Dealer

Anyone had any luck dealing with someone with warranty with Leica. I've been trying to get replacement eyecups for my Geovids for bloody ages and was hoping to get an actual contact that might get me somewhere. Was looking to sell them but wanted to get the new eyecups for the new owners before i sold them. Both eyecups cracked about 6 months in. Doesn't matter functionally but its frustrating I cant get a replacement after multiple retailers have been contacted over the last 2 years.

Saw them at the Tahr show many years ago and spoke to them directly and they were fantastic and posted me a new set the following week

Gimmie a shout if you sort out a contact, got a rangefinder that got moisture inside. Annoying.

Lacklands are the ones to get in touch with.

From memory I just got hold of them through a customer enquiry on the website.

I send a faulty rangefinder back through them last year and they fully refurbed for free out of warranty!

Lost my Geo vid eye caps after the retaining rubber broke on both sides. Somewhere in the Mt Tanilba area Fiordland. Got a set priced at 60 bucks. Never got them back then. Be interested now if you track some down. Also part of the rubber housing on the main binos is delaminating a bit. But they have had a lot of use over many years.

Yup, thought that I was in another thread. Need to pay more attention to what I'm posting.

Yeh there’s a Leica dealer in Auckland.
I lost one on my Geovids, went in and they had them in stock. From memory it was $40

You can buy them on eBay for less, but not worth the hassle for a few $$
