Yes, same with me, nothing on there gave me any confidence to buy.

The name gives it away, it's a tracker. Use when you shoot something to find blood etc. it will be useless as a spotter
It's an expensive gimmick
The price gives it away to😄
Blood and urine show up through these things better than a animal.
I have quickly sorted out got it/missed it arguments buy showing clients the view through the thermal.
Even many $$$$ spent you have to no what your looking at, a sheep in the cold with 8-12 months wool with give away zero signature most of the time, sometimes just the face.

Saw one of these in the flesh today, may get to play wih it in the next few days. Anyone else had a play and got some opinions to do a review?
Going to an evening here in the UK where you can try before typos buy!
Will let you know what I find.
Was looking into a Pulsar 38 and a Seek thermal.
Anyway not sure how close this is to the above product.
I have tried the leupold one in a shop. Looked at a lady with it, could see the hotspot!
But other than that it is not a conclusive trial.
A pulsar 38 can pick up cows at 2km, and be blind on a magpie at 100m.
As said above , you have to know how to read what you are looking for.
This is what I know mine can do so far. Indicate whitetail in thick bush at 50m. Be aware that if no part of the animal is visible it can't indicate a heat source (nothing can). I can see dog prints on the ground and in moderate rain see a dog at 150m they do need a bit of practice before they become useful. Not as good as Quantum but 1/4 the price and much more compact

Batter life is impressive as well.
Had a wee play with one... Cheers Bob
Possums up a tree not a problem, pick them up with it and can't find the bloody thing with the torch (twice) could see one run across the track 30m away, enough detail to tell possum from cat. Very different holding it almost at arms length, meant 2 people could use at the same time (if your friendly) imagine it makes it 'easy' to film / pictures through. Different colour palettes come in useful, when walking along a road red/ green to see the road, hi white picks up animals through vegetation better. Online I found for the zoom was once located an animal and working out what beach it was on, doesn't help see further (digital not optical) amazed at how sensitive it is, standing in one spot for a minute or two walked of and looked down, could see the difference between my well insulated boots and his tennis shoes!!
Great wee toy / piece of kit. Would suit certain applications (like the one designed for - blood trail). Would I buy one? Maybe.... (see my posts over winter for a few toys getting sold off :P)
