Can they handle a hunt for a few days, rocky terrain? Or do they take a fair beating?

I use mine for bush hunting and they are very comfortable. Probably different conditions than what you get in canterbury but fairly hard wearing. I wear mine all the time, not just hunting. Got a year or 2 out of the last pair. They are still wearable but had a couple of holes so moved into the spare pair.
