Looking to buy new Crispi boots ...question about sizing

    Evening,

After years of running cheapish boots I'm looking to buy some decent ones, probably Crispi Nevadas.

My usual size boot is UK 10 US 11 EU 45 which fits me with a thick woollen sock on.

I've recently heard it's actually better to buy a size larger than you normally would as it's better for when you're going downhill as it stops your foot getting squished at the front.

Just wondering peoples thoughts on this.

    Cheers

Definitely don't want your toes getting squished after a long downhill it can get pretty painful.

Best to try them on and give the wall a kick to see if your toe hits.

I bought my Crispi’s in the same size as all my other shoes, and they’re mint. They have lace locks so you can lace the top tight and the bottom loose (or vice versa) if you want/need to.

Great boots, best I’ve ever owned.

Yep thier sizing seems spot on. I usually use the euro sizing as I seem to get the best fit that way. Of course everyone is different and the nevadas seem tom really fit my foot print.

Do they stock half sizes in NZ yet? For me 42 was too small and 43 too large. Internationally Crispi do halves but NZ wasn't getting them. That was couple of years ago.
