Looking for new lightweight high performance sleeping bag?

With the boys getting into hunting we need a third bag. Currently have a Kathmandhu Moonraker (v.warm, little bulky), and a Sea to Summit Micro MCIII.

The MCIII is super light, and compacts well with 850+ down.

Looking for some similar but perhaps a little warmer. Any recommendations?

Yep but there are 3 of us, so chance to get a new one. Kuiu and Feathered Friends look good.

If you want super light, quilts are the business. My -7 rated quilt is 550 grams.

Quilts are interesting! Prefer a bag though, water resistant too. Zpacks look good. I quite like the look of the Kuiu 15 Super Down Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Sleeping Bag | KUIU and if you watch the video you can see the stretch in the material. Quite a difference in $ with Zpacks much cheaper for similar temp.

Mont Bell make good bags. Water resistant down is a load of shit by the way, it lasts a short while which is enough to sell it to people.

The kuiu bag will come in close to $1000NZD.

Yep seems too good to be true...a water resistant shell is better...quite surprised how well the Moonraker sheds water. Mont Bell do make good gear what I have seen but don't have any personally.

Yep I looked and the one I want came up with ships 1-2 days. Thinking straps and zip...have a neo xtherm that is easy to slide off. Wouldn't mind the triplex tent too...may have to be one or the other.
