Did you ask beacons NZ to de-register the beacon or just keep your record of loss on file? If it was activated, RCCNZ will contact your emergency contacts if still registered in your name . Might be worth asking your insurance company if you are covered for a replacement. We have had clients in the past ask for a copy of their purchase receipt to be able to make a claim.
