Thread: LOWA BOOTS

Interesting reading. I’m going to buy a quality set of boots before next winter and was guna get Lowas but now not sure.

Any recommendations? Maybe Bestard or Meindl? Or a model of lowa that work well?

I know alot of shepereds use Andrews and swear by them.
Anyone using Crispi boots

I recommend the Tibet leather lined. They are not avail here so ask Sarvo if he can track some down 4U.
Otherwise recommend anyone whos slipping over start carrying a 'Mustering Stick'. When crossing a stream ALWAYS face the stick upstream and the force of the water will hold the stick down. Place the stick then walk forward leaning on it, stop, move the stick, then two steps etc. Carry it over the shoulder with a bungy. Good for sidling and descending too
