    How did you go with the Rangers? I've mine for 2-3yr and given them a hammering in resonably rough terrain, lots of real tough heather bog, rocks, rivers, shale, etc, and they're superb. Really comfy, no breaking in needed. I've real wide feet, and they are not a problem.
