@ KiwiinSeattle; normally no - Im a warm sleeper anyway, however new to hunting and outdoors adventure in general, but I really want to get up into the snow, i figure with a bag I can unzip until im more comfortable if its too warm, but worst case its probably the thing to keep you alive the longest should things really take a turn for the worst. Id be lying if the 800/840 wasnt somewhat concerning though - from a cost, and weight perspective it might be wise to consider a lower (700ish) level bag like the Lattitude XP I mentioned...
Have had Latitude XP for a few years now, it's the only bit of gear I have that's remained constant. Kept me warm in the Tahr blocks and way up high etc. Don't see the need for anything heavier
