    Maxtoch

So I finally have a 2S now , very happy with it but now see the 2X 20% more output, how much more distance will that be, and is this the sniper model they are talking about?

Also spied out the SN6X-22 and 23, cant seem to see any for sale, are the not released yet ?

Last question, I see the BTU Shocker on trade me, is this worth while or what other options are there for a big distance throw

Dunno? Sneeze is the man I go to, on torches. I have 2 Maxtoch torches he sourced for me. I also have 3 Dereelights (DBS v3 with a plain lens. DBSv3 with Aspherical lens. And a Nightmaster) They are all gruntier than my Maxtoch ones but have less flood.

Just had the latest dereelight 'X search' show up at home, so will have a play when I get back.
It is supposed to have more flood.
    I like my torches

Has the Maxtoch been de-domed moonhunt? This will greatly increase throw and produce a warmer colour that cuts through the atmosphere better. The

Sniper is not out yet, we've advised a few changes to provide better heat dissipation and reduce weight. We have seen a pre-production model.

Yup. I like the maxtoch but the dereelights are smaller, lighter and gruntier. I search with the maxtoch and use a dereelight to shoot. The dereelights so far lack the flood of the maxtoch ones I have.

Yeah, we're all holding off for the new one too. Good that they have taken on board the recommendation to make the lighter model.

I would recommend the de-doming. Ours light up the walls of a house at 1km.

If I ever manage to get the weather right when I get into NZ I will have a play. My last 3 trips home have been complete shit weather wise, and this trip looks to be the same old, after nearly a month of great weather.

Ya just drop the pill in some petrol to de-dome, yeah?
