I've got an M1 Archer too ( only 1 of many Maxtochs) and it is very grunty. Being a single cell 18650 it doesn't have the runtime of the 2 cell torches at full noise, but you can run it on a low setting for general walking, then up it to big time for the shooting. Actually I'm not sure they still sell them Stagstalker. I think the M2 with the side switch instead of the tail switch on the m1 is the only Archer you can get now ?

I usually grab my big torch, but apart from being lighter, single cell torches have the added benefit that if you can find a stuffed laptop battery and pull it apart, you will have 5 or 6 usable 18650 batteries, since it it usually only 1 battery that is stuffed. Just watch them while charging and only use them in single cell torches since they wont have overload protection.
